A little fan art for the 10 or so fans over here of this awesome series nobody watched/read. XP
I'm dying to know who are fans of this one XP
Well anyway, Onmyou Taisenki da. It has great potential but was never fully used Still, it's one of the few anime/manga/universe I like and probably will stay a fan much like Sonic's. I won't go on and explain everything here, so I'll just leave it to you go explore that series, should you be interested.
These are Ikazuchi no Fusanoshin, Byakko no Kogenta and Seiryuu no Kibachiyo from the left to the right. Some of my favourite Shikigami (or err.. Spirit God). Kogenta gets the first place though. :3
I planned to put in their Toujinshi at first (or master, if you call them like that) and the rest of the Tenryuu but ended up not to, as it would be a major pain to colour (more than it already was... not to mention I'm horrible at humans, most likely XP)
...and I also just realized I forgot the Saikaidou Kotetsu, Koge's sword, oh well.
I started this way back in March. But completely forgot about it with school. I promised I'd finish it so it didn't stay buried in the WIP folder XP I picked it up a few days ago. I wanted to bring this picture to the anime convention that's coming up around here, Otakuthon 2007, and see who actually recognizes this series. I'm curious to know how many people, and are/were fans.
The picture's resolution doesn't do justice to the amount of details I put in there. I might post enlarged sections in the scraps later.
Well to the 10 people here. Enjoy~!
This won't be my last one. X3

We are falling, the night is calling, tears inside me, calm me down.
Bless me, with the leaf of off the tree, on it, I see the freedom reign.
Praised to my father, blessed by the water, black night, dark skies, the devil's cry..... -_-
*cries* It's beautiful. Fusanoshin looks good, Kibachiyo looks good, Kogenta looks better than good... your shading makes Kogenta look all fuzzy like he should be! And the grass!! It looks like grass! Beautiful green grass! And the leaves!! AND GEKIRINGA!!! *_____* It's so shiney and pointy and stabbity!! And the cloth looks all clothy!
... I want a poster of it.

If that was the picture whose theme I was trying to guess on MSN, someone owes me a cookie!
Pretty nice, I like the poses (and for some reason the folds on Kogenta's pants). It's easy to tell you put a lot of effort into this, considering the designs, as well as the weapons (Fusanoshin's Raimeiou is simply insane).
The background is neat too; I've always been a sucker for clouds. The torii is a nice addition.

The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Dang, it's quite different than what I expected. That of course.. that doesn't mean it's bad!
That does look quite painful to draw as you stated.
Great work though! I think the effort was worth it.
